I've been wanting sushi for a minute now and I found this place while shopping at publix. It was ducked off in a little corner but to my surprise everyone was extremely welcoming. The food was sooo good and sooooooooo fresh which was definitely a added BONUS. I got dinner for me and my honey and we were both highly impressed with the Mexican Roll, Shrimp Tempura and American Dream Roll #nomnomnom

I dont work too far from this restaurant.. it has quickly become one of my go to spots. love the bento lunch boxes! such an awesome deal for quality food and a good portion. I always get the JB BENTO BOX: Served With 2 Pieces Of Shrimp Dumplings, 8pcs of the JB rolls (salmon, cream cheese, scallions), 4 Pcs Of California Rolls, Spring Roll, Soup Or Salad. all of this for $9.. can't beat it! I've suggested this place to several people and anyone that has gone or that I have taken has loved it! The service is great.. fast.. and quality of the food is always good. I have never gotten a bad meal.

I was next door shipping something out at UPS on my lunch break from work. I noticed hidden in the corner an Asian restaurant. I figured I would stop in and grab a quick bite before heading back to work. As I walked inside, a man greeted me right away and showed me to my seat. When I sat down, they handed me a menu, which was the Lemongrass Bistro menu. I am guessing either they stole the menu or are related. My vote is probably related. I ordered the edamame and cucumber roll for lunch. I kid you not; the food came out within five minutes. I did not even finish letting my Yelp app load to check in before the food was in front of me. Five stars for service here! Overall, the staff was very nice and attentive. The food was good. I would come back here if in the area again.

Ate there weekly till I read that they were closed down in August 2014 due to live roaches in the Tempura mix among other things. channel 5 WPTV posted this info. Yuck! Unacceptable.

Staff is extremely friendly. If anyone says different they were probably rude to begin with. We love the staff and they treat us very well. My husband and I and our daughters eat there so often that the waitress' know what we order, but still check to make sure. The food is amazingly good! So Delicious! We are definitely regulars and for good reason. Would recommend Fah to everyone we know.

Yay! I was visiting family in South Florida, and my grandmother really wanted sushi because she never gets to go with my grandfather (because he doesn't like it). My aunt spoke very highly of this place, so we all went for lunch one day. We started with a bit of miso soup (quite servicable) and some salads with some of that super tasty, very orange in color ginger dressing. That's my favorite gingery dressing. Then we had four rolls: birthday, california, KC rainbow, and spicy tuna. All were very nice, especially the birthday roll. We also got some nigiri with it: salmon, tuna, escolar and (I think) yellowtail. Everything was fresh and totally awesome. Service was good and the prices for reasonable for what we got. Thumbs up from me.

Great sushi! Great service! They let us take our time ordering. They have a great plum wine! For appetizers, we ordered summer rolls, fried shumai, and curry puffs. They were all amazing! We then ordered 3 sushi rolls-KC rainbow, green roll, and Three Musketeers. The KC roll was a little watery (due to it being wrapped in cucumber), but the other two rolls were great. We even ordered another Three Musketeers roll! It was lightly fried to perfection. The green roll was wrapped in rice and had avocado on top. So good! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5, is because of the fried bananas. They weren't really warm, and there was too much fried crunchiness around the banana. Regardless, go to Fah and eat lots of sushi!!

Excellent sushi/Thai restaurant in East Boca. I have been here a few times for lunch and highly recommend their Bento Box deals. To start, we had the curry puffs which were good but not some of the best I had. They were deeply fried and the chicken quality inside wasn't very good. I prefer curry puffs that are flaky with white meat chicken and sweet potatoes (i.e. curry puffs at Thai Spice in Fort Lauderdale!). But, it is difficult to find curry puffs in South Florida and these were very good. I especially enjoyed the peanut sauce on the side. For their Thai food, I've had both the chicken red curry and the Thai basil chicken stir fry. Both dishes are full of flavor with very decently sized lunch portions. The ingredients are also very fresh!!! The chicken is high quality white meat chicken and the vegetables are delicious. If you like spicy, I'd recommend asking for some spicy chili flakes on the side to adjust the curry to your liking. I've also had their lunch special bento box shrimp tempura which is great! The shrimp tempura is perfectly fried with large shrimp. It comes with soup or salad, shrimp dumplings, California roll, and egg roll. All for (I think) about $12! The dumplings were excellent as well and sushi seemed really fresh. If you are in the East Boca area and are craving a bento box for lunch, this really is the spot to go! It is in the Publix shopping plaza directly to the right of the Publix.

Though it has a cool look, place is dirty. Bathrooms are dirty. Food is ok. Cannot believe it is owned by the Lemongrass people.

This place was temporarily shut down for major health violations, unacceptable. Have to revise my review. wptv.com/money/consumer/…

Wow. This place is the best. Sushi is the freshest in Boca. Service is over the top. I love that the owner calls everyone "honey". This is the place to go. Anywhere else and you will be disappointed. All the rolls are outstanding.

I ordered delivery from Fah last night and I got a miso soup and spicy tuna dip. It looked kind of dry, like it was sitting a while but I've eaten here before and trusted it. I was throwing up all night and morning and had to take off work. Don't need to say anymore :(

I used to love this place, ate there almost twice a week. I am utterly disgusted! From Channel 5: "Inside Fah Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar (7461 N Federal Highway, Suite B5), state inspectors found live roaches in the Tempura mix, under food storage containers, and under sinks. They also found evidence of rodents." SHAME ON YOU FAH!

We recently moved about a block from FAH & have gotten take out & delivery several times. It is always fresh & delicious. And the staff is very friendly.

I'm not going to say it's bad but the stir fry and pad thai is overrated. The tofu was so overdone it was not that enjoyable. I would definitely not come back. The ginger dressing was good and the rolls that came out looked good but I don't know how good they are. Don't get the tofu here... That's for sure.

Very sorry to have to post a negative review of Fah. For several years we have eaten here on a regular basis. Always fresh and crisp. Loved the duck salad and sushi rolls. Last 3 times somehow they have lost their way with our orders. Tasteless and mealy duck with old salad. Avocado on sushi brown and slimy. We ordered as take out and went straight home to eat. We are now taking FAH off our list for at least 6 months and then will retry but 3 strikes and sorry, it wasn't a bad night but just plain bad food.

This place has great food and service. The staff is very attentive and seem to remember me. They offer indoor plans outdoor seating which is nice depending on what your mood is. The sushi is freakin awesome. If I'm on the east side of Boca this is the place I go to. The volcano roll topping is massive and They offer brown rice in the rolls for 1$ more which is good too. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

This is my favorite restaurant. The massaman and panang curries are to die for. If you're into sushi- get the fah's roll, crispy eel, or red dragon. They are so flavorful! The tuna lovers salad is also perfection.

Absolutely delicious food for very reasonable priced. The service is always fast and the place is small but comfortable. Highly recommend this place for sushi.

Phenomenal, sushi very unique fresh and huge, and pad thai is large and a great peanut base. Service is excellent and very friendly, and they're great about correcting any to-go orders. Excellent restaurant!

The only place to eat sushi. I don't go anywhere else. Everything is always fresh and I love the girls that work there. I would eat there everyday of I could.

Best special fried rice I've ever had in my entire life! It's got shrimp and scallops besides the usual chicken and steak. Sushi is also really good. The place is small, and sometimes service can take a long time, but the food is always good. Warning: don't get hot tea. The mugs always have lipstick on them.

This is my favorite place in delray. Amazing food..super high quality. The variety is what keeps me going weekly...sushi thai salads soup etc. love maggie and nikki who are there 90% of the time. There is also hardly ever a wait but yet it is full

Note: On Yelp I review exclusively sushi bars. This gets my standardize average review: Decent selection and normal fare. Quality of fish is fine. The chef's interaction and detail was OK. If it were a neighborhood joint, I'd be happy, but won't travel to it again.

Hands down, our favorite place to eat out in Boca! We have been going here since our daughter was a baby (she's almost 10, now) and the staff has watched her grow up and treats her like family. The food is fantastic - sushi is so fresh and the Thai dishes are authentic (and spicy!). The tuna lover's salad is my favorite!

Great lunch spot. I always get the Pad Thai with sushi bento box. Their pad Thai is on the sweet side but really delicious. Everything I tried was good but the summer roll wasn't fresh.

Ordered delivery the other night. Took a little long but it was very much worth the wait. My pad Thai was delicious and hot and the sushi was so fresh and tasted like they made it right that moment. I would order again in a heartbeat!

Fah offers one option that most other sushi restaurants don't offer: outdoor seating. It is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center on North Federal Highway in Boca. Since it is in a corner people are not walking by your table gazing at what you are eating. Fairly good sake selection but 2 of the cold sakes by the galss were "unavailable" . Settled for a decent $18 bottle. Very interesting soups. Had a coconut, lemon grass soup with lots of chicken which was fabulous. Sashimi dinner came with four selections of very thick sliced fish. Delicious, but no side salad included like most other places. Sex on the Moon roll was also delicious. Very friendly staff.Took a peak inside when we were leaving and the interior was hip and sleek. Just under $60 for two.

Best Thai ever! Sushi is good too. Pad Thai is the best I've ever had. As good as new york city Thai food. :). I like the lunch specials.

I've ordered from here a few times for lunch and I've never been impressed, despite trying several Thai dishes, including the curry. The food is fine, but nothing memorable and not particularly well-spiced.

I visit Fah at least 2 times a month. It may not make me much of an expert because I only order Thai ice coffee and shrimp pad thai. I really like the service. There is one main server who pretty much does it all. For someone who is handling so much at one time, she is always friendly, energetic, and quick. She remembers EVERYTHING. The food is always fantastic (I am even speaking for my friends who had been there). The pricing is fair. Overall, it's a great place to dine.

Distasteful dining experience. Whether you are used to dining on the freshest sushi in the world in Japan or just a weekend sushi lover, the one quintessential ingredient will always be "freshness". No matter how it is prepared or what goes into the presentation, if the fish is not fresh the sushi will always taste badly. I will not be going back to this restaurant.

Meet a friend here last night and got dinner on recommends from other Yelp users. I had the Babe on a Stick and he had the Kobe Tune Steak Roll. Both were fantastic. The pork in my meal was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I'm not entirely sure what the side to the meat was, but it had green beans, tomatos, and peanuts in it. I ventured a taste and it was a good complement to the pork. My friends tuna roll was great. I don't even know what all was put on the tuna to dress it up, but the fish tasted so fresh and the mix of flavors was very tasty. We both also got Wonton Soup which was by far the best I've ever had. The noodle pouches were obviously home made and the soup was perfectly seasoned; not too salty which many Asian restaurants seem to do. The service was great. They were very patient with us as we stayed until closing time. The only downside to the place was the size. It was very small; maybe max seating for 40. It got crowded about half way through our stay and got pretty noisy, but I have to say, I didn't notice too much as my friend and I were catching up on a lot of time away from each other.

I ordered the Sushi Deluxe for dinner. I was prepared to be disappointed in the salad because I am not a fan of the usual sushi ginger dressing. The citrus dressing on the simple salad was outstanding. Bright, orange flavor and just a bit of a bite grom ginger. It was certainly an appetizing start to the meal. Not only was the sushi platter filled with fresh, tasty sushi, but the waitress noticed that I am left-handed and set the plate down in an orientation more conducive to my using chop sticks from the other side of the plate. Much appreciated!

Small rolls. Overpriced for the size portions. Food is masked in sauce and the soup is extra salty. Goto sushi rays!
